Local dealer of course wanted full price plus 'installation' (over 100 to slip an SD card into a slot). Using the mazda SD card in my GTR for several hundred miles and decided to get the update. Was a bit concerned but bought it on eBay. I have used DeoxIt contact cleaner on the contacts of the card previously (and reapplied when I did the update) so perhaps the 'wiping' action of removing the card and reinserting made the difference? Dunno, but it's working fine now. Just bought a Nav card about 3 weeks ago. Once I removed it the infotainment system worked fine.
